Public Housing and Project-Based Wait List Opening

- The Housing Authority of the County of Alameda (HACA) will be accepting applications for eligible families interested in three-bedroom and four-bedroom public housing units in Emeryville, Castro Valley, Dublin, Fremont, Hayward and Union City.  Please note that applications must be submitted online between December 19, 2011 and December 22, 2011.  During that time, the application will be available on HACA’s website by clicking on “2011 PH and PB Wait List."

FY 2010-11 THP-Plus Annual Report Released

- On Monday, October 10, the John Burton Foundation released the THP-Plus Annual Report for fiscal year 2010-11. The report chronicles the progress of the 2,209 former foster and probation youth who received housing and supportive services in THP-Plus programs around the state. - NEXT STEPS COLLABORATIVE (NSC) is a joint project of four FYA Member agencies: Bay Area Youth Centers (BAYC), Beyond Emancipation (BE), First Place for Youth and Abode Services: Project Independence (PI). Housing for Current Foster Youth

- Bay Area Youth Centers (BAYC) will host an orientation to their RAFA Transitional Housing Placement Program on Saturday, March 20th, at 1:00, at 22245 Main Street, Suite 200, Hayward. 2009 Homeless Count Report
