November 21, 2011 - FYA Member Beyond Emancipation has recently published an updated version of its handy Guide to High School Diploma and GED Resources, a listing of support programs and other resources available in Alameda County. The guide is intended to help TAY (transition age youth) and supportive adults to make informed decisions about programs designed to help them succeed in obtaining their high school diploma or GED certificate. June 07, 2011 - FYA Member Agency Beyond: Emancipation is seeking 3 AmeriCorps Interns in partnership with BAYAC AmeriCorps program. These full-time positions start in August and run a full calendar year. There is a monthly stipend and an educational award following completion of the program. May 17, 2011 - FYA is proud to partner with National Center for Youth Law, Casey Family Programs, and Beyond Emancipation to offer the Alameda County Education Services Directory. The directory was developed by the National Center for Youth Law, and is a comprehensive listing of educational support programs available in Alameda County, including tutoring, mentorship, college access, and summer and evening programs.
