psychotropic medication use among children and youth in care. This webcast compliments past NRCPFC and
National Technical Assistance Center for Children’s Mental Health events, and discusses best practices regarding use, and oversight and monitoring of use, of psychotropic medications by children/youth in foster care, as well as the impact of the Fostering Connections Act. This webcast offered information on the role of child welfare staff in working with prescribers of medications, foster parents, birth parents, and children/youth in care.
