An overview of CSEC mental health issues, using Motivational Interviewing in work with CSEC, and case conferencing.
In this training we will:
Explore the variety of issues presented by CSEC and/or overlapping with sexual exploitation including drug and alcohol abuse, adolescent sexuality, multi-system or "non-system" involved youth, and working with families (including alternative families and foster families);
Engage in a lively discussion with other providers in our community working with CSEC and highlight best practices;
Share tips and resources to bring back to your agency to use in "real time" with your work.
