Report Issued on MH Service Access for Alameda County Youth Placed Out-of-county

- On Thursday, February 14, 2013, National Center for Youth Law and Young Minds Advocacy Project issued a report on mental health service access among Alameda County foster youth placed in other counties. Alameda County Probation Department Receives Positive Youth Justice Grant

- The Alameda County Probation Department has received a $75,000, 12-month Positive Youth Justice Initiative planning grant from the Sierra Health Foundation to improve the outcomes of young people with a history in the child welfare system and now engaged in the juvenile justice system, often referred to as crossover youth.
