Free Cell Phones and Services for Foster Youth Ages 18-21

- The California Public Utilities Commission (PUC) has approved a policy that will provide free cell phones and up to 250 minutes of service monthly to residents, age 18 and above, who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI), food stamps, Medicaid and other public assistance OR who earn less than $15,000 per year. “Let’s Talk About Sex, With Foster Youth” Now Available Online

- The first episode of “Let’s Talk About Sex, with Foster Youth” from Fostering Media Connections is now available to view online HERE. The series of “webisodes” is aimed at improving the sexual education of foster youth. Each webisode consists of interviews with foster youth, the adults in their lives and experts on a range of topics covering sexual health, family planning and the psychological issues associated with sexuality.Read more »
